Linux is the hottest operating system on the planet and RedHat is one of the Best Distributions Available! For those trying it for the first time, or upgrading from an earlier version, everything you NEED is on One CD. For those wanting everything under the sun for their INTEL or INTEL compatible platform, optional CD's allow you to mix and match to get all the files you could possibly WANT without getting any unnecessary or unwanted files.
Don't be fooled by offers of getting more on 2 CD or 6 CD sets - you're paying for optional files, or files for Sparc and Alpha machines. If you have an Intel or compatible and want the ALL THE FILES you can lay your hands on, then read on....
The Standard One CD distribution includes files not found in the 'OFFICIAL Box Set' or 'OFFICIAL Power Tools Set'. This includes up to date files from several internet sites to make sure you have the 'latest and greatest', and won't have to download a thing! If you really WANT the extra files, simply purchase one or more of the optional CD's full of files to experiment with!!

Linux is a multi-user, multi-tasking true 64bit operating system. RedHat Package Manager makes installations, upgrades, configuration, and maintenance a breeze.
| You can get any, or all of the above optional CD's with your Standard $8.49 One CD Purchase. The added cost is $3.50 per CD, with NO ADDED SHIPPING charges, no matter how many you get. This means you can get a total of 1 or 7 CD's depending on how much you want and which files you want. You can get the whole set of 7 CD's, delivered to you door, for as little as $33.49. YOU CHOOSE how much you want, or get the Standard One CD Distribution which has everything to install, configure, and maintain your own Linux Box! Buyer pays, plus any applicable options, plus $4 shipping in Continental United States, international shipping slightly higher. Payment types accepted include money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks, although personal checks are held for 7 days to clear (not 14-21 days like some dealers). I will contact buyers upon receipt of emails.
Individuals wishing to purchase the Standard One CD Set, Optional CD's, or any combination thereof, and who would like to avoid the hassle of being 'sniped', 'overbid', or just prefer direct sales to auction formats may contact me directly at: Robb Sands. I will be glad to discuss your particular needs and can custom configure a package which meets those needs. Direct sale prices are competitive with auction rates, and don't fluctuate, so you always know how much you're actually going to have to spend in order to get the files you want.
I sell a Commercially prepared distribution Standard One CD set which is more up to date than the RedHat 'Official Boxed Set' or 'Power Tools'. Optional CD's are custom burned for me at the top EDI Software Development Company in Ohio. This ad contains files pertaining to an Intel or Intel compatible platform only. Any files included for Alpha or Sparc are miniscule and not designed for those platforms. I do not sell the 'Official RedHat Boxed Set' in this ad, but if you need it, email me and I'll get it for you! The Standard One CD in the ad contains ALL the files you NEED to install, configure, upgrade, manage, and support a FULL-BLOWN Linux Server and/or Workstation. These are UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED to be included. The only files not on the Standard One CD Set which are included in the 'Official Boxed Set' from RedHat direct are the Alpha, and Sparc files, and a few redundant RPMs. ALL the binaries are there that you could possibly need. The optional CD's contain many, many files - Not every file on every optional CD is unique (but I tried to make sure there were minimal overlaps), you should check the file listings to determine your exact needs. You could download this entire 4+ Gigabyte collection from the various internet sites if you have enough drive space, time, and bandwidth to do so. I have tried downloading from RedHat on a T3 and got 3.8kbps max throughput - so it'll take a LONG TIME. If you need a complete system for Linux buy the Standard One CD set. If you WANT a ton of files to experiment and learn with, buy some or all of the optional CD's.
